Days 1 to 5 - Placencia
Your journey begins on the golden sands of Placencia. This charming seaside village is the perfect introduction to the Belizean coast. During your stay, head out to the reef for a day at Laughing Bird Caye or Silk Cayes for world-class snorkeling. You will also enjoy a cultural day trip to the southern ruins of Nim Li Punit, known for its impressive stelae and panoramic views.
Days 5 to 8 - Hopkins
Continue to the Garifuna heartland of Hopkins. This leg of the trip focuses on Belize’s deep commitment to conservation. Take a Manatee Tour to spot these gentle creatures in their natural habitat and explore the lush hiking trails and waterfalls of Bocawina Mayflower and the world’s first jaguar sanctuary, Cockscomb Basin.
Days 8 to 12 - San Ignacio
Head inland to the adventure capital of Belize. San Ignacio is your gateway to the wild west. You’ll have the choice to visit the remote and majestic Caracol or the impressive riverside site of Xunantunich. For the ultimate adventure, take the plunge into the famous ATM Cave and join a night hike to experience the jungle as it comes alive after dark.
Days 12 to 14 - Lamanai
Experience a different side of Belize as you head north. Your journey to the Lamanai ruins begins with a scenic boat ride up the New River, perfect for spotting crocodiles and exotic birds. Days 14 to 18 - San Pedro
