The itinerary
Days 1 to 5 - Antigua Guatemala
Your adventure kicks off in the cobblestone streets of Antigua. Explore historic ruins, vibrant artisan markets, and a world-class culinary scene.
From Day 3 to 4, you will embark on the trip’s most exhilarating challenge: the overnight hike to Acatenango Volcano.
Days 5 to 8 - Lake Atitlán
Journey to the highlands to witness the serene beauty of Lake Atitlán. En route, make a stop at Iximché to explore Maya history. Spend your days hopping between lakeside villages, all guarded by three majestic volcanoes.
Days 8 to 10 - Lanquín
Venture into the lush Verapaces. Lanquín serves as your gateway to the turquoise terraced pools of Semuc Champey. Hike through the tropical forest and reward yourself with a dip in some of the most beautiful natural waters on the planet.
Days 10 to 14 - Petén
Travel north to the cradle of Maya civilization. You’ll stay directly on the tranquil shores of Lake Petén Itzá, where the jungle energy is at its peak. During your stay, explore the legendary ruins of Tikal and enjoy a visit to the colorful island town of Flores.
Days 14 to 16 - San Ignacio
Cross the border into Belize and head straight to Xunantunich, an ancient ceremonial site that offers some of the most breathtaking views in the country. This serves as your grand welcome to the Belizean jungle.
From your base in San Ignacio, you’ll have the chance to experience the rugged beauty of the Cayo District, where the lush river valleys and ancient history set the tone for your Belizean adventure.
Days 16 to 18 - Hopkins
Head to the coast to the laid-back village of Hopkins. Immerse yourself in the soulful rhythms of the Garifuna people, lounge on pristine beaches, and enjoy fresh, traditional Creole cuisine.
Days 18 to 21 - Caye Caulker
Finish your journey on the idyllic island of Caye Caulker. Whether you choose to snorkel the world-famous barrier reef or simply enjoy the island's famous "Go Slow" lifestyle, it’s the perfect end to your expedition.
On Day 21, bid farewell as you head to Belize City for your flight home.
